"Instead of dissipating, the shadows that crowd this terrible affair grow thicker each day.
You know all of the theories that I have turned over in my mind since the day when, abruptly torn from my family, I was accused and convicted of this abominable crime.
I wonder if the conspiracy of which we are the victims does not continue to operate, in order to deepen the shadows."
