Letter from Lucie to Alfred Dreyfus dated 24.10.1897

"Your name shall be cleared, I swear it, and soon you will have the happiness of once again possessing your respected and honored name, which will forever remain unblemished; you will have the immense joy of seeing your dear little children, and all of us, and of returning to a life that we shall strive to render perfectly happy.
I kiss you, my darling, with all of the strength of my deepest affection, I hold you in my arms and tell you once again: be brave and patient."
